Baby who weighed 16 pounds in 1983 is now an adult and still known for his huge size

In 1983, a remarkable story began when Patricia Clarke, a 24-year-old mother, was expecting her second child. She had a hunch that her baby might be a bit bigger than usual, as her family was known for having large babies. But she never imagined just how big her baby would be.

Patricia gave birth to a baby boy named Kevin Robert Clark. He was extraordinary from the start, weighing more than 16 pounds! This made him not only the biggest baby ever born at Community Memorial Hospital but also possibly the biggest in New Jersey. Kevin was too big for a normal crib and regular baby clothes, but thankfully, he was a healthy baby.

Kevin’s size quickly caught people’s attention. He was talked about all over the country, even appearing on TV shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America”.

But Kevin’s growth didn’t stop there. By the time he was 12 years old, he was already 5 feet 7 inches tall, and he kept growing. In junior high, he reached 6 feet 5 inches. Kevin, now used to people being curious about his height, had a sense of humor about it. He joked, “I like to joke that I’m 5-foot-21. When people ask if I play basketball, I ask them if they play miniature golf.”

Today, Kevin is 39 years old, and he stands at 6 feet 9 inches tall. He’s a former military man and lives with his 6-foot tall wife and their Great Dane. He’s embraced his unique stature, saying he’s gotten used to being bigger than almost everyone else.

Kevin’s life has been a journey of handling the spotlight and the curiosity of others, but he seems to be doing just fine. He’s a great example of embracing what makes you different and living your life with confidence. Kevin’s story is truly inspiring, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors!
