Brad Paisley & Kimberly Williams Privately Raise Their 2 Kids in Cozy Log House
When Brad Paisley is not on tour or away making new music, he enjoys life as a family man with his actress wife, Kimberly Williams, and kids. The couple lives in their dream home in Williamson.
With a stable career, a lovely wife who was a longtime crush, kids, and a dream mansion in Williamson, Tennessee, Brad Paisley has always wanted it all. It is safe to say that it is wholesome to see Brad living this longtime dream, but it all started with a small step and a bag full of dreams.
Paisley was born in Glen Dale in West Virginia, and by the age of eight, he already had a vision of what he wanted out of life. Paisley loved music and dazzled his hometown people with his talents.
Following his first visit to Tennessee, the youngster became even more convinced that music was his goal. Way past his formative years and into adulthood, Paisley moved to Tennessee.
The music star once shared that he was grateful for starting in Glen Dale because Tennessee was much bigger, and the amount of talent there could make one realize they were not the best. Kickstarting his career, the βSheβs Everythingβ crooner enrolled in Belmont University, which had proximity to recording companies.
So it became that as he earned a degree, he also pursued music. These days Paisley is past his struggling years and enjoying the rewards with Kimberly Williams, his wife of 20 years.
Although this couple has been married for two decades, their love story goes as far back as the early 1990s, at least for Paisley, because he fell in love with her long before they met.
Paisley was still in his humble beginnings in 1991 when Williams caught his fancy on βFather Of The Bride.β Four years later, he experienced a bad breakup and saw βFather of The Bride IIβ to escape his worries.
Seeing Williamsβ face again brought a ray of sunshine, and he thought she was funny and good-natured. He shared with Good Housekeeping in an interview:
βI thought, She seems like a great girlβ smart and funny and all those things that are so hard to find.β
By 2002, Paisley had settled into celebrity life, becoming the ACM top male vocalist of the year. His song, βPart II,β had elements of his breakup and tales of him watching βFather Of The Bride.β This indicated that Williams was still on his mind.
That same year, his and Williamsβ paths crossed, and he asked her to be in the music video of his song, βIβm Going To Miss Her.β Williams agreed, and that was the beginning of their love story.
The duo started dating, and eight months in, Paisley got on one knee on Venice Beach Pier and professed his love to her. The lovebirds tied the knot in 2003 at the Staffeur Chapel in Malibu and then moved to Nashville.
Paisleyβs Dreamy Abode
Paisley always wanted a home in Williamson County, and best believe he got it. After moving to Nashville and starting a family, the βWhiskey Lullabyβ singer found a suitable log-cabin-style abode to call home.
The music starβs home is situated just outside Nashville with a guest house that was converted into a home studio. The refurbishment includes up-to-date music instruments and sound mixers in contrast to the cozy outlook of the interior.
Paisley gave fans a glimpse of his studio amid the pandemic when he recorded from home and took live requests. The expanse of land and grassy plains stretch far from the red-painted log cabin home.
Inside, Paisley and Williamsβ living room bears wooden upholstery with fine-tuned and glossy surfaces. It is safe to say that the couple opted for a homely setting with large windows and blue pastel-colored couches.
The kitchen setup included dark blue floor-to-ceiling cabinets on one path, which contrasts with the white cabinets on the other end.
The other areas in the kitchen are covered in brown wood. Williams gets to make her daily veggie tonic in there while giving fans a view.
Outside, the front porch serves as a relaxation area, complete with lounge chairs and wooden floors. Williams once shared a selfie with her dad, showing off their porch time. The couple also has a home bar reminiscent of a beer saloon.
What the Family Life Is Like
Paisley has two grown sons, Huck and Jasper, and when he is away from the entertainment scene, being home with them is the ultimate bliss. The star dad did not want to be far from home during their formative years.
Bedtime is their most cherished time because while Williams loved reading stories, he was the storyteller. Besides having fun over storytelling, he believes in instilling values.
The award winner once shared that he believed parents should teach their children humility and kindness because it was not readily embraced. Also, he shared that good behavior should be encouraged.
Although the kids get to watch their superstar dad during his eureka moments and award shows, TV times are limited. However, he shared that he and Williams allowed TV time on weekends, as other engaging things were to be done besides TV.
When it comes to raising kids, Williams and Paisley are on the same page, and the same can be said for their marriage. The couple has a tradition they never stray from when it comes to their anniversary.
The celebrity duo often spend quality time together penning the beautiful things from the previous year in a journal and focusing on positivity. While Paisley loves his wife for doing the right thing all the time, she loves him for his big heart.
Another important aspect of keeping their marriage happy is laughter. Quality time together is also crucial for the couple, even if it is as simple as spending their evenings together. Although their marriage has been blissful, some days are better than others.
One of the challenging moments in Paisley and Williamsβ lives was the COVID-19 pandemic when the country star had no shows and could only share his music virtually, and the actress also could not be on set.
This was a big change for them because Williams had gotten used to not seeing her husband three days a week, but the endless time they spent together stregnthened their relationship. βI figured out I really like being around you!β said the singer to his wife.
The two also love to spend their time giving back with their non-profit, The Store, a free grocery store in Nashville for people with food insecurity. Through the ups and downs, Williams and Paisley will forever hold on to the memories and time spent together.
