Crescent cheese danish
Ingredients:
- 1-8 oz. Philly Cream Cheese Packaging (Soft)
- 2 TB butter (fully dissolved)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of plain white sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Coating:
- 1/2 cup sugar powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 4 teaspoons of milk
Methods:
- Heat more than 350F.
- In a medium-sized bowl, use a blender to blend soft cream cheese, lemon juice, pure vanilla extract and white sugar until well homogenized.
- Open the crescent roll pipes but do not dismantle them
- Use a sharp knife to chop them – chop them. Make thick slices.
- Placing every slice on paper-lined biscuit sheet.
- Using your fingers or a small measuring c to create wall around edge (to hold the filling).
- Using the brush, take the melted butter and add 1/4 cup light brown sugar and mix
- Brush the mixture on top of each Danish
- Doll up amounts of filling in both danish
- Baking at 350 for 16-18 mn
- Let it cool down and add a spray of glass.
Coating:
- In a small bowl, mix all 3 ingredients and stir until smooth, then sprinkle over each warm Danish
- Top with the filling of cherries, berries or strawberries!
